Ammar has lectured and trained in various international training centers including
Thomson Foundation, TV CO and ITN. He has also contributed to the development and
enhancement of the workflow and newsroom department at many Arabic speaking and
foreign channels, such as Al Arabiya, Al Arabiya Hadath, Al Ekhbariya - KSA, BBC,
Aljazeera International and many others.
Ammar Shhab is a member of a group of 40 international trainers specialized in the science of subconscious and speech for a global audience. He has new theories in the field of media training and social communication. Mr. Shhab has trained over 4000 persons including beginner and professional editors, journalists, news anchors, reporters, as well as VIPs including Kings, Presidents, Ministers, and Politicians.
He has also trained media spokespersons for the British government, the U.S. State Department, NATO Allies, and other international political entities. He is a researcher in Arabic Linguistics and Humanities at UNESCO, Beirut.
Ammar holds a master’s degree in mass communication from SOAS, University of London. He has two bachelor’s degrees in Arabic Language and Psychology, Lebanese University. He works as a business secretary in Tahreer newspaper in Lebanon and has also served as News Director and Anchor at 92.6 FM Radio. In 2007, he established a newsroom for Monte Carlo at UAE. He worked as a media consultant for the Ministry of Economy at the United Arab Emirates.
